Replacement of the water distribution pipeline at VUAB Pharma a.s.

The project involves the reconstruction of the main water distribution pipeline running along a pipe bridge at the VUAB Pharma a.s. facility in Roztoky u Prahy; the goal is to eliminate water leaks.

The project is being implemented to increase the efficiency of the water-distribution system, reduce water losses, and improve supply reliability. The above-ground steel pipeline on the pipe bridge has deteriorated due to age and exposure to weather conditions. A significant portion of the pipeline is 40 to 50 years old and has not undergone any major reconstruction; previous interventions were limited to routine maintenance. The project is co-financed by the Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness with financial support from the European Union. The project completion date is June 2027.
